An evolution of the PS190 kit for the Fiesta ST 150 Duratec engine has lead us the choose a little wilder Pair of cams.
After the back to back Dyno runs between 2 ST500 see here — CLICK — we saw that there was a little room for improvement at the top end.
The answer was to lift the cam profile on the inlet side to give another 3-5 bhp but to keep the exhaust cam from the existing kit to retain all the drivability and torque of the mid range.
The exhaust cam is still the Perfectly profiled by 200spec item we allready use but the inlet cam has had a mild profile and lift change to give a little more power all the way to 7800 revs(where available) and will still run with the Original Ford springs.
These special profile cams are fitted in the new 190 PLUS kit.
These items can be fitted in our workshops or Mailed out and DIY fitted.
Your ECU will have to learn these cams and will take 20-40mins steady driving to fully map itself.~
In ST150 applications we suggest the use of our very popular 190 remap which when added to the full list of easy bolt ons delivers smooth power and torque all the way to the top.
Pumaspeed Duratec intake cam
Specs: 270 duration / .396″ lift (10.06mm) – ATDC @ full lift = 114
Cosworth 200 spec Duratec exhaust cam
Specs: 255 duration / .374″ lift ( 9.5mm ) – BTDC @ full lift = 113
Please note the 190 PLUS cams are designed for track toys and race cars. Please select the regular 190 spec cams for mainly road going cars.
