The Mk7 generation of Fiesta ST EcoBoost is ripe for tuning straight out of the box. With a completely standard ST180 running 99 RON fuel we have seen up to 235bhp and 370nm!
With some simple breathing modifications such as aftermarket cat back exhaust and intercooler, our 1R calibration can see even greater figures with up to 240bhp and 390nm on tap, incredible numbers for such a small outlay.

This MAXD 1R Flash Programmer allows you total control of your vehicles engine calibration with the use of any Windows based PC and is designed to run with the stock catalytic convertor still in place. It will run a totally stock vehicle or run with additional hardware such as the R-Sport Stage 2 Intercooler and R-Sport Air Filter Kit to produce up to 240bhp (Yes – that’s 240 bhp on a stock catalyst!). We recommend high grade fuels only for Pumaspeed R spec maps, however if you only have access to 95 RON fuel, no problem, we can simply offer a slightly milder stage 1 file with a 5-10bhp and 10-15nm reduction to suit the lower quality fuel.

There are very few remaps on the market today that have this sort or performance and also all the Ford OE built in safety features still included, for instance the stock boost level is around 1.45 BAR and the MAXD map only lifts that to around 1.55 BAR. This 1R calibration is running on thousands of cars now, with some over 100,000 miles on the clock with out issue, we pride ourselves on offering not only fantastic performance, but also a great reliability record.

Absolutely! The MAXD tool allows you to store the original file on your supplied USB stick allowing you to install your stock mapping any time you need.

No problem at all, your ECU will be read by the software and this will be treated as the stock mapping for your car. We do have stock maps available upon request.

Yes the bespoke MAXD software is very simple to use and runs on any Windows laptop. We provide easy to follow instructions, a video guide if required, and if you get really stuck, we can even offer a remote install via TeamViewer.

Yes, this is one huge benefit of the Flash Programmer, MAXD can easily send you upgraded files from the above list as you upgrade the hardware to suit for an affordable price. Stage 1R to 2R upgrade is a simple £100, rather than other tuning solutions which require another full purchase.

Yes the in-house calibration specialists at MAXD can tailor a mapping to suit you and your driving style. Whilst MAXD research and development does run through most case scenarios, there will always be the requirement for that one off special build.

The MAXD device locks itself to your vehicles VIN number and ECU version and can’t be used on more than one vehicle. We are able to unlock the Flash Programmers if they are returned to us, but this is only a service we offer for the original purchaser for use on another of their cars, we do not offer this service for the MAXD device to be sold on.

MAXD maps are available for 95RON, 99RON and 102RON (On Request). We make them freely available but warn that running the wrong fuel to mapping combination can be dangerous.
