The water radiator area is left open ,which allows the  radiator to cool the water better.

This lowers water temps by a reported 5 degrees Cooler intake charge equals more power.

Mounting points are all independant of the stock FORD Water Radiator to eliminate the risk of cracking plastic end caps.
